In the first segment of this four-part interview, Paul recalls the early days of the Beatles and discusses the break-up of the group.
"It was like a divorce but nobody was to blame." He tells Pat Collins of his last and friendly telephone talk with John Lennon
when they re-established their friendship. On Tuesday 7 November, he talks about his association with John Lennon and about his feelings
towards Lennon’s wife, Yoko Ono. On Wednesday 8, he talks about his family life, meeting his wife ("very kind and spunky")
and having children. On Thursday 9, he talks of the futility of trying to recapture past glories.
